We have had consistent yearly drops for the last 4 years of arguably some of the best music offerings in the industry and on Friday 2/26/2016, we stayed true and 6EN3S1S came into fruition. 6EN3S1S or “Genesis” is an all Instrumental Extended Player project put together to raise more awareness of The Jetsons Music and establish our name even further with current and new listeners. This all new collection of records Produced by Mick Majors and Jim Fatso, better known as The Jetsons is titled after Greek mythology Genesis as opposed to the book of Genesis which appears in the bible. In this spellbinding series of beats each beat is given the name of a Greek mythological figure, endowing each record with the enigmatical spirit of the ancient Greek tales of myth. Each and every beat used for this project was in development starting back in Summer of 2015 and were elected by Jim and Mick as the best of the best of all of the music we had been working in that specific period of time. Mickey Majors & Jimmy Fatso have come together once again to align their vision on what you can only be described as the greatest Jetsons Music offering of all time. The Jetsons Music Presents 6EN3S1S tears into the fabric of space and time with even more Out of This World Brilliant Splashes of Astonishing Musical Color Painted Across the Universe. “Myths of origin” or “creation myths” represent an attempt to explain the beginnings of the universe in human language. The most widely accepted version at the time, although a philosophical account of the beginning of things, is reported by Hesiod, in his Thogony. He begins with chaos, a yawning nothingness. Out of the void emerged Gaia (the Earth) and some other primary divine beings: Eros (Love), the Abyss (theTartarus), and the Erebus. Without male assistance, Gaia gave birth to Uranus (the Sky) who then fertilized her. From that union were born first the Titans—six males; and six females. After Cronus was born, Gaia and Uranus decreed no more Titans were to be born. They were followed by the one-eyed Cyclopes and the Hecatonchires or Hundred-Handed Ones, who were both thrown into Tartarus by Uranus. This made Gaia furious. Cronus (“the wily, youngest and most terrible of Gaia’s children”), was convinced by Gaia to castrate his father. He did this, and became the ruler of the Titans with his sister-wife Rhea as his consort, and the other Titans became his court. Greek Mythology is the body of myths and teachings that belong to the ancient Greeks and has always been an interesting topic of study for Jim & Mick. These stories concerning their gods and heroes, the nature of the world, and the origins and significance of their own cults and ritual practices have been revived on this EP . We must give credit to the amazing artist who put together the image for the album art Christopher Tyler (Mickey Majors little brother) the creator of GoldenTunicSkyScrapper, thanks to him we have captured an image that will stand the test of all time; and one that you can all add to your album collection with the rest of the amazing works of art contributed by our amazing collaborators.
