Great news sports fans! The Jetsons Music is back and now better than ever. With the recent publication of their latest project titled “PLVGUE’, The Jetsons aim to take the throne among the top electronic music producers of this modern era. The project which was released 2/24/2017 is available for stream and download at our Bandcamp.com location. The Jetsons Music has continued to deliver quality beat tape projects for the last 5 years of arguably some of the best music offerings in the electronic music industry. “PLAVGUE” is an all Instrumental Extended Player project put together by KIDFAT & Mickey Majors to draw in a wider audience to The Jetsons Music and establish our name even further with our unshakable listener base. This most recent beautiful arrangement of records is titled after The plagues Egypt which is a legend according to the biblical book of exodus; about plagues inflicted upon Egypt to persuade the pharaoh to release the ill-treated Israelites from slavery. The Pharaoh capitulated after the tenth plague, triggering the Exodus of the Hebrew people. In this spellbinding series of beats, each beat is given the name of one of the ten plagues of Egypt, awarding each record with the incomprehensible spirit of the story of the plagues of Egypt. Each and every beat used for this project was in development starting back in Summer of 2016 and were designated by Michael & Jimmy as an A-1 collection of music which had been created at that specific period of time. The two universes of your two favorite inter-planetary music producers have come together once again to align their vision on what you can only be described as the greatest Jetsons Music offering of all time. In the legend of the pleagues of Egypt the reason for the plagues appears to be twofold: to answer Pharaoh’s taunt, “Who [is] the LORD, that I should obey his voice to let Israel go?”, and to indelibly impress the Israelites with God’s power as an object lesson for all time, which was also meant to become known “throughout the world”. According to the Book of Exodus, God hardened Pharaoh’s heart so he would be strong enough to persist in his unwillingness to release the people, so that God could manifest his great power and cause his power to be declared among the nations so that other people would discuss it for generations afterward just like they will discuss The Jetsons Music Presents “PLAGUE”. In this view, the plagues were punishment for the Egyptians’ long abuse of the Israelites, as well as proof that the gods of Egypt were false and powerless. If God triumphed over the gods of Egypt, a world power at that time, then the people of God would be strengthened in their faith, although they were a small people, and would not be tempted to follow the deities that God proved false. Exodus 9:15–16 portrays ‘Yahweh’ explaining why he did not accomplish the freedom of the Israelites immediately: “I could have stretched forth My hand and stricken you [Pharaoh] and your people with pestilence, and you would have been effaced from the earth. Nevertheless I have spared you for this purpose: in order to show you My power and in order that My fame may resound throughout the world.” The exodus was a riveting tale that has been captured, reawakened, and revived with this latest EP installment.
